Approvals and Standards
This respirator is approved by NIOSH under the NIOSH 42 CFR 84 respirator certification regulations. This Multi-Purpose respirator is approved to the P100 filter class, as well as for ammonia, organic vapors, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, chlorine dioxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide (for escape only), formaldehyde, hydrogen fluoride, and methylamine gases.

Product Information
These cartridges are replacements for the cartridges found on MSA Safety Works’ Multi Purpose Respirator (half mask) and Full Facepiece Multi Purpose Respirators. These cartridges can also be used interchangeably (in sets of 2) on MSA Safety Works’ Toxic Dust Respirator and/or Paint and Pesticide Respirator (half mask style or full facepiece). The mostly widely approved cartridge design on the market today, these cartridges include integral high efficiency (99.97% against 0.3 micron particles) filters and an impregnated bed of special activated carbon that helps absorb many types of gases.
