This product is great for compact spaces and fits very well under the cabinet. Note, you will have to buy the kit to mount under the cabinet.

We mostly use this microwave for leftover lunches and defrosting items. It has a "reheat" button that does a plate of leftovers perfectly! The display (compared to my TWO previous spacemakers) is not arranged well. The "Start" button is just randomly placed among other commands, instead of in a prominent place. One has to hunt EVERY TIME for the proper button. Also, it is a bit noisy, which makes me nervous, since my previous spacemaker died a noisy flaming death a few months previous. All in all, however, i am quite happy with this microwave.
The product arrived in perfect condition, although it took a while.

The microwave has the same footprint as my previous Spacemaker, but due to location of powercord, it projects about 1/4 of an inch more.

Not exactly beautiful, but if you have white cabinets, the white version blends in well and is one of just a few microwaves on the market with the perfect depth for 12" deep upper cabinets. Heats well, has many automatic modes and a timer and is very reasonably priced. Good deal.

GE makes the only cabinet depth microwave with 23 inch width and rectangular oven. I replaced the previous model whose magnetron at 8 years old died but was still under warranty, all else working fine. Labor costs ($80+)and challenges of finding a repair shop that would handle the warranty, made repair a gamble given this model was about [$]. This one has a turntable (earlier one did not) that can be turned off (handy for 9x13" casseroles) Its kitchen timer continues even if you use it for cooking, not so of the earlier model. Perfect for my limited needs - reheating, thawing, and precooking potatoes that otherwise take a long time (I still finish them in a conventional oven.

I have a specific place with limited space where I could put a microwave. The GE Profile Spacemaker II fit that space. That combined with the GE name and reputation were the the two reasons why I ordered it. The bonus is that it looks really great, works fine and is easy to program.
It took about ten days or so to get here, but I live in CA and it was coming from NJ, so that was reasonable. It was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. THANKS!

I have a built in microwave cabinet and was having difficulty finding an appliance that would fit the space at a reasonable price. The Profile Spacemaker slides in perfectly and the price is much better than anything I found at my area appliance and home improvement stores. I use it daily and am very much pleased with the performance. AND, it's a beautiful machine. It looks great in my kitchen and matches my other stainless steel appliances perfectly. I'd highly recommend it to others.
