No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Used in non-traditional way under kitchen sink, as optional by-pass for low-flow drinking water filter to send full flow directly to faucet. Lack of indents (the diverter knob will turn the full 360 degrees) means there's no way to know when the diverter is set completely to one output or is mixing to some degree.
