I'm a DIYer and had no trouble installing this water closet(toilet). I'm on a well and we are about 40% below our normal rainfall YTD. We had similiar problems last year. I am conserving water and am amazed how little water the unit uses as compared to a regular unit. Have not had to use a plunger and I don't think I will need to. I'm single, but this would be ideal for a family if they want to conserve water.

I bought this toilet to use in a downstairs guest bedroom. I wanted something with a good, strong flush, something that looked nice, but wasn't outrageously priced. This purchase accomplished all those goals nicely. I have a toilet in a powder bath that I paid three times as much for,(different manufacturer) and although it's a very nice looking toilet, the flush on it is HORRIBLE. I wish I bought one of these for that bathroom as well.

These toilets continue to amaze me. I remodeled my last house, and after reading pages of reviews, I bought 2 new Toto Drake toilets. I absolutely loved them! I took all of the nasty plungers out of the house, and didn't have 1 single clog in almost 4 years.
I bought a new house about a year ago, and 2 of the 3 toilets were already Toto products. Well, I just remodeled the master bath, and replaced the 3rd toilet with a Toto as well.
They flush completely the first time, every time, so you do not have to flush multiple times to clear the bowl. They are the only toilets I have seen that actually use the GPF rating they have on them, since you don't need to re-flush them.
I can't say enough how pleased we have been with Toto toilets, and I recommend them to every person I talk to about remodeling a home.

This is the second bathroom in the house where we've replaced the original toilet with a Toto brand. They are very well designed, virtually impossible to plug and show every intention of requiring zero maintenance unlike the old models that required new flappers and float assemblies every few years.
We put a Drake, which is a fairly traditional design, in our master bath and a Nexus in our guest bathroom. The unique Nexus design gets more comments from guests than the artwork in our home.
Liked it so much, we bought another.

My old toilets were constantly stopping up. I decided to do some research and found that the Toto Drake is a sure winner in the flushing department. I must say that I agree! I was anticipating a noisy powerful flush, but it amazing how quiet the flush is, eventhough it has such power. It must have altered the gravity field or something. Our son has been bragging about his Toto's - we finally replaced the 2 toilets that were original to our 1951 house. Installation on #1 was 2.5 hours, on #2 - 2 hours and that included getting the old toilets out. Fast flush, little water, fine design, good price. Delayed shipping (originally they said they were in stock, then not) set us back 3 weeks, but if you've been waiting 50 years, what's a few more weeks?

This toilet is everything it was said to be and more. We bought the Softclose Seat and it's worth every penny. My son loves it. He's being potty trained and he calls it "The Robot Seat" I recommend the toilet to anyone a little hesitant trading in their large 3 gallon and up flusher. This does a better job with 1.6 and fills super fast!

It's been difficult to find a 1.6 toilet that actually works, and the TOTO does a terrific job every time. It also refills quickly. No complaints.

We are very impressed with how easy it was to replace our old toilets with these Toto Drakes. The flush system is amazing. My husband thinks this is the best home improvement project we've done. Overall we are extrememly happy with this product.

Since removing my old toilet and installing this one, I have not once used a plunger. It was easy to install, no problems thusfar. We will probably get another one for our guest bathroom as well.

I know it may seem odd to get so excited over a toilet....but I can not hide my enthusiasm over this fantastic innovative TOTO DRAKE toilet! I was actually considering a pressure assisted toilet. After much research and reading endless reviews, I changed my mind and bought the TOTO! I could not be happier. The price was great....I got mine from Homeclick.com... [...]. The installation was straight forward and the instructions were very clear. Now for the best feature.....the outstanding overall performance. This toilet refills the water closet in no time flat. The flushing power is in a word....AWESOME.. I am now going to install a new TOTO DRAKE in all 3 of my bathrooms !!!!
