I needed an electric wood stove to go inside a mantle I had found, and the Dimplex wood stove that I already had was just a little too big. Since I have gotten much pleasure out of my old Dimplex I sought out a smaller one. It fits perfectly in the mantle space and is just as well made, both structurally and aesthetically, as my larger stove (now in my bedroom). I love the ambiance of the soft glow of the flames, and it definitely takes the chill out of these New England spring mornings. It's just a perfect addition to my living room, and I LOVE the remote!

I really like the remote. Keep it next to my bed in case it gets to warm. The heater/stove is just the right size.

I did quite a lot research and was looking for a fireplace made by Dimplex. I've seen many stoves and this one is probably the best. Excellent efficiency, stylish design. All family love it!

Can be moved anywhere in the room. Looks great and provides steady, even heat. The remote means you can stay in bed and operate the unit. (We use the woodstove heater in the bedroom) Very pleased with the unit.We are thinking about getting another one for another cold room.
