Worked fine, but the only problem is that since it is thicker on the top I hd to get a diamond drill bit and cut a small lip under my granite counter so it could connect properly.

Sure wish it came in the box with the rest of the hot water dispenser, but it worked great.

This is a necessity when installing your instahot if you have granite countertops. Works fine & is easy to install, but it a bit overpriced as necessary extension pieces go.

Well, the extension was absolutely necessary, because the Insinkerator lead-in isn't long enough to fit in a 1.5" thick granite counter. Shame on them, though, that the Instant-Hot doesn't fit and I had to order this at all...

We needed this item to extend the GN unit for our granite counter tops, the item is a hair too long but I used a couple of washers I had laying around and works fine.
