we use our instant hot water heater for making baby formula, steaming vegetables, making tea, cleaning stains out of carpet and clothing, cleaning up sticky spills on the floor and furniture... this just makes the water taste so much better. We use the filtered water for our coffee too since it is right next to the coffee maker.

Keeps hot water tasting good. Just replaced an unfiltered instant hot without a filter and if not used frequently the water tasted funny. The filter ekiminates the bad taste.
