Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I do love the fan, but I'm surprised by the finish on it. It was supposed to be brushed nickel, but it looks more like a shiny silver finish. Accept for a very slight clicking noise, it is quiet. Without hesitation I would purchase another fan like this one.
