Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Well built and solid, unlike so many of the fixtures you buy today at the big box stores. Attractive design. Easy to install. Not very bright with the 60 watt max bulb allowed but we use them as accent lights so this is great for us. Light is a bit yellow due to glass color but looks great in our room.
